Scuba Instruction
and Dive Certification:
PADI Open
Water Dive Certification and Classes-provide the student with knowledge
and skills to safely visit the underwater world. The course will
make you comfortable with the equipment you need and will ensure
that you develop the knowledge and skills necessary for safe, enjoyable
diving.
- Certification
means a diver is qualified to:
- Buy air
fills, equipment and other diving services
- Engage
in recreational open-water diving without the direct or indirect
supervision of an instructor
- Plan, conduct
and log open-water, no-decompression dives in conditions generally
comparable to those in which you are trained.
- Participate
in other PADI certified courses
Advanced
Open Water Instruction:
The PADI Advanced
Open Water program provides the novice diver with a structured,
well-supervised means to gain additional experience. The PADI Advance
Open Water Program involves students in various underwater tasks
that broaden their awareness of the environment and their capabilities
as divers. Advanced Open Water Instruction gives students a taste
of what more specialized diving activities have to offer. All students
must complete and two elective dives and three core dives
Core Dives:
- Underwater
navigation
- Night diving
- Deep diving
Two of the
dives are considered ELECTIVES. You and your instructor may choose
two of the following electives: altitude diving, boat diving, drift
diving, dry suit diving, multilevel diving, peak performance buoyancy,
search and recovery diving, underwater naturalist, underwater photography,
or wreck diving.
Bring your
dive log book and your certification card if you are expecting to
dive.
